The Ceyssens Font

An experimental type design that visualises dyslexia
Experimental Typeface

This typeface is designed from a personal experience. As a child I was diagnosed with dyslexia. It was always hard for other people to understand what I experienced when reading a text.

That’s why I developed a font that translated my personal difficulties that I struggled with for years. I tried to communicate the difficulties and feelings I have when reading to a broader audience.

This is only my experience and dyslexia comes in so many different forms so it is hard to explain. But I believe this is the best way to explain my own feelings to people who don’t understand dyslexia and maybe even to people with dyslexia.
